If you are going some where on Holidays then you should have to follow these tips to get healthy and fit during travelling on holidays. here I am sharing top 5 tips you should follow while travelling on holidays.

5 Tips to follow while travelling to get healthy

Healthy Travelling

1) If you are spending the holidays on a holiday away from home, attempt busy holiday and fitness-related trips.

Rent a bicycle to explore a new town, go scuba diving or surfing, go snowshoeing or skiing, or simply walk! Matt and I will be ringing in the new year on a cruise with Carnival; we anticipate picking some enjoyable and busy excursions (and checking out their gym and fitness class offerings, also )! In addition, I love running around new cities, as you all know -- such a wonderful way to tour a new location quickly. Remember my awesome Paris Running Tour summer time?

2) Sign up for a holiday race or walkin!

I really like a good vacation race, and register to get Turkey Trots and Jingle Runs in whatever town we will have the holiday season. Not only are holiday races a lot of entertaining, but they are a fantastic way to remain motivated to train throughout the busy holiday season. Most towns and cities have gotten on board the holiday race ; Active.com and RunningInTheUSA.com are great resources for finding races around you. Not finding any that work? Bonus: you'll work up an appetite for those holiday dinners!

3) Try out a new-to-you fitness studio.

I love using travel as an excuse to test out fun new-to-me studios or workouts. It can be a great way to mix this up from your normal workout routine and try something else! Even better is that often studios will offer"first class free" drop ins. To find a class near you, a site I adore is GoRecess.com!

4) If studios aren't an option, designing your own workout!

Bring resistance bands, a jump rope, and other portable exercise equipment with you, and use whatever other gear you have on hand. You might have a hotel or house gym filled with balls and weights, but otherwise, get creative -- utilize seats for step ups and dips, turn soup cans into light weights, etc! If you want some inspiration, pack your favourite exercise DVDs or attempt a fitness app.

5) Incorporate fitness in your family time.

I enjoy taking family walks and hikes during the vacations. And remember that fitness does not just mean organized activity -- adopt your inner child and build a snowman, go sledding or ice skating, or play tag!

All this said... be realistic, too! You will not be able to 100% stick to your regular workout routine during the holidays and that's fine. It is a time to recuperate and relax somewhat, as well! Be kind to your self stay active in ways which are fun to you and integrate built in fitness in your day daily actions (walking, taking the stairs), but do not stress yourself out if there are days when a workout only doesn't happen.
